Looking Good In The Sun

Today was SO nice out...almost 60, and mom took some cool photos of me soakin in the sun. I got a new mini tennis ball today too...it's JUST MY SIZE!

OH,my....I Have a new friend....Eva

And she lives next door...how convenient eh? She looks alot like me...and is actually a week younger (I am robbin the cradle a bit)...but she's HUGE!! And i am afraid that she will always be that way as she is a bernese mountain dog...oh, no...what will I do? Emma & Her mom are the same age...so maybe they'll become friends now?!?!

I am 10 weeks old now

and getting more & more feisty. I dumped over the trash in the laundry room yesterday...and that was fun! Right now I am trying to get candy out of the kids little candy machine & mom is holidng a piece of gum as an attempt to get me to pose for this photo. And guess what...I got it from her & just was about to get it out of the wrapper & she took it from me!

can you believe my family didn't take a single photo this holiday? Luckily my sisters family took a few & so did the grandparents...hopefully I'll have a few pics to post later!

I LOVE TO CHEW

and am extra feisty about it tonight. Must be because i slept ALL DAY LONG!! and I can't go outside & Play cuz it's TOO COLD!!

8 weeks now...

and i won't stay awake long enough or sit in one spot long enough for my mom to take my picture!!

I still like the snow....like to play & chew. Starting to think i can bark too!

How I sleep...

And let me tell you I sleep alot! Once I am out I am OUT! You can yank on me, pull on my, shove me...no matter what I sleep!

I found a new toy

I know...i am not supposed to but how can i resist....these ornaments hand just at my height & teas eme. They are so tempting & some times I just cave & take one down. This stuffed santa one is perfect, it has a wooden wreath that feels so good on my teeth!

I am 7 Weeks old now!

And look at me...I can get on the couch if mom puts a pillow down that I can jump on. I am a Chewing monster....but really prefer toes over the stupid chew toys they bought me. And I am really diggin the outside. I can dig in the snow, chew on dead vines, and run around as much as I want. I am still a sleeper though, all that running around & chewing wears me out!

December 6th....tree hunting

Today, I went up to the mountains. Near the boy scout campgrounds in Red Feather & Cut down our tree. MY first christmas tree. IT was cold of course, but LOVELY!! I got to run around in the snow & dig in some bushes. When we got back in the car I took a nice long nap! Now tonight we will decorate MY FIRST TREE!

First Snow....

Being a TX native, Major has never seen snow. Even if he saw it in TX, we all know it wasn't real true SNOW!!

Lucky for him it snowed yesterday....about 7 inches. And HE LOVED IT!!! He ate it, dug in it, jumped in it & helped Brian shovel it! This was at the start of the snow on Wed. Only a inch or so...he didn't mind it.

THis if from earlier today...covered in snow cuz he was diggin in it!

And then this evening he went sledding with the kids. He kept wimpering till i put him down. he had to run around in the snow. He chased the kids all over!

6 weeks.

The Name....

Major...is after Major Colbert. Guess what he does? He plays football, he's a safety. Guess where at? CLue....it's in the photo!! THe other day he was SO tired...but wouldn't sleep. But when he finally passed out...on the hat that he was inspired from!

Ok...here we go...Major needs a blog!

So, we have added a new member to our family...Major. He is part Shitzu (sp?) and Corgi. Major's parents belong to our family in Texas. And when they had puppies emma "knew" she needed one. So she made a huge presentation & called a family meeting. We all discussed Emma's desire to have a dog (nothing new, she's wanted one for YEARS!)...and finally agreed to get one. The Taylor's told us all about the puppies & Helped us pick a good one.

Major is a little boy, and was born on Oct 19th. He was brought to us with his sister....who went to Brian's neice...so hopefully they'll visit with each other soon!!
